Lost Art: Brilliant short film about painted billboards by Stella Artois @stella__artois

Even when you take out the fact that this is brilliant brand communication, this is a fantastic piece from Mother, NY and Stella Artois about the under-appreciated art of painting billboards.

Don't ask me why, but a line from an early U2 song, Walk to the Water, has been one of those bizarre, obscure things that's forever stuck in my head since I first heard it 20+ years ago: He said he was an artist, but he really painted billboards. Seems like the song's got it backward.

Growing Up Digital - Don Tapscott's 2020 Shaping Idea @dtapscott

This is an outstanding and broad-reaching series of discussions about the future and how it will shape up, put together by Ericsson in a stroke of genius that makes you aware that they completely understand the future of branding and marketing (which incidentally, there is a video about).

We'll feature others, but this one was particularly interesting to us and features Don Tapscott discussing generational differences and the impact of growing up digital.

Red Bull's Project X: Killer full-site branded content

We know we posted about the video yesterday, but we couldn't stop there.

If ever there was a brand associated with Xtreme sports, it's Red Bull. And if there's ever been a winter sports personality to drive that branding, Shaun White is the guy.

Red Bull's Project X website is a full-on presentation of Shaun, one of the coolest heli-ski/board areas in the universe, and a massively engaging brand experience targeted directly to the people at the center of Red Bull's marketing efforts.
