Literally and figuratively, Nike is taking the concept of getting people involved to a new level with their 'Chosen' effort. Fans not only get to submit videos of extreme sports and their tricks, they have the opportunity to essentially become a Nike-sponsored athlete for a day. Great stuff. Here's the trailer ...

After an endless and unoriginal week of network reporting of New York's recent snow, it's comforting that the internet brings us access to work like this from filmaker Jamie Stuart, shot in and around Astoria, NY. Apparently an homage to Dziga Vertov's 1929 film Man With A Movie Camera, we'll forgive you if you don't make the connection between the two yourself.
